Piling frame

The barge is equipped with two identical piling frames, which can used both on port and starboard side.

Each frame is fitted with an upper and lower pile guide, which can be installed over either side of the main frame. The pile grippers can be hydraulically opened, closed and moved independent of each other, allowing the pile to manipulated in any position or angle. Each piling frame has its own electric-hydraulic power unit.

The maximum pile size is 1422mm which can be driven 3:1.

The outreach of the main girder is 16m, which can slide over the bull rail which runs from jack house to jack house.

Access tower

The access tower is fitted to the aft of the barge and is accessible from the tween deck.

The tower can be raised and lowered by the main crane.

The staircase is designed in accordance with the Australian standards.

The tower is capable to accept a crew vessel pushing up to the tower.

Transfer from vessel to tower will be over the nose of the vessel in such a way that three points of contact can be guaranteed.

The tower is fitted an 8” submersible pump with steel pump line. This line can be connected on tween deck level to the on board fire system, thus serving as an extra back up fire pump.

The tower is equipped with lighting for safe access at night.
