HMSMC 220 is a twin hulled, road transportable, vessel that serves as a multi-purpose workboat designed for towing, anchor handling, dredging support, buoy maintenance and offshore construction works with an area of operation of 20 nm from shore.

Bearing small dimensions of 16m by 6m, with a hydraulic knuckle boom loader crane installed on deck, its ready to lift any payload up to 10 T in the most confined spaces, and for tasks requiring both precision and efficiency it holds a 7,5 T line pull winch,  ensuring it as the right support vessel to any construction jobsite.

Powered by two 230hp engines it can achieve 3 T bollard pull & 8kts speed, making it the ideal vessel to tow loads around harbours, estuaries & rivers. Aided with two spudlegs for stability, its crane can manoeuvre heavy loads onto or from its deck without compromising the safety of the vessel.

Its rudder can be driven-by-wire, monitored by a computer system linked to GPS tracking for bautomatic heading and speed control, perfect for obtaining regular subsea bathymetric survey data with sonar tools.
